My name is Jamieson. I am a qualified large animal veterinary technician with around 5 years of experience in both small and large animal practice. My passions are parasitology and diagnostic work, I also enjoy a bit of surgical nursing and wound management when the opportunity arises. With over 5+ years in the equine industry, horses hold a special place in my heart. I was raised on a sheep and beef farm until the family farm was sold and we moved to a smaller beef unit, I attribute this upbringing to my passion for the industry. My goal is to support farmers in a practical, and, relative way that sees not only them and their business move forward, but the industry as well. I have a keen interest in beef genetics and would one day like to have my own breeding program. The goal is to own a decent-sized piece of dirt that allows me to do this. In my spare time, I enjoy getting out in the garden, being on the back of a horse exploring our beautiful district, and spending quality time with pets, family, and friends.
