Rory hails from Dumfriesshire, Scotland and has made the Kaipara region his home after practicing in both New Zealand and the UK. He loves tackling herd and flock health problems as well as animal health planning and farm systems. Working mainly from the Ruawai branch, Rory works hard to develop and maintain relationships with clients through a commitment to transparency, honesty and clinical excellence. 

Away from work Rory is a keen runner (if a little slow), an avid footballer and president of Northern Wairoa FC, an enthusiastic (if regularly unsuccessful) hunter, and has a strong interest in politics. He is never happier than when spending time with his fiancé Mel and their two crazy fox terriers, Alfie & Scrappy!
